Our  mission is building specially adapted, mortgage-free homes for disabled Idaho Veterans. These homes help restore freedom of movement and ease of access to daily activities in a home with:

Wider door openings throughout the house allowing for a wheelchair to pass through

Light switches at a lower level

Ease of access to cabinets

Automatic door opening and closing of front and back doors

Low maintenance landscaping.

 

208 Cares’ mission also includes a ‘continuum of care’ component.  Location of the home within the subdivision is carefully planned to give maximum ease of access to the community for employment opportunities, and social activities.
