PROTECTION FROM FIRE

In July, residents of 305 8th Street were displaced for 1 night due to a house fire. The current electrical system of the 6,000 sq. ft. home poses eminent threats of future fires. It's time to re-wire the home built in 1949 and update the electrical panels.

PROTECTION FROM A FLOOD

In 2007, sewage pipes were leaking into closets. In 2008, the Associated Builders and Contractors of North Alabama repaired the leaks and corrected many pipes in the home causing damage and mold. It's 2012 and throughout the previous year, leaks continue to cause routine problems. The 50 year old cast iron pipes have sprung new holes. It's time to re-pipe the home.

PROVIDE SHELTER

Help us raise money to fund housing for the 16 residents who call 305 8th Street home. The early part of March, residents will be displaced for 16 days while plumbing and electrical work is being done.
