Three Eighty One Corporation

Most of us fully support the concept of "giving back" but we often don't have the time or the money, or the ... (fill in excuse here).  I will be the first to admit guilt. 

Then, I started to think about my story, the unlikely path I took to success.  As a Black American inner-city kid prone to mischief, I was lucky to find my way to an elite independent school, thus forever changing the trajectory of my life. I've met people and have been to places that have enhanced me in immeasurable ways.  And all of it is due to the hard work of some and the generosity of others.

What is your story?

Maybe it sounds just like mine.  And if it doesn't, chances are that your life has been enhanced by your relationship with those of us who have walked this path.  Your experiences at independent school, or college, grad school, or at your work place have been enhanced by people of color who participated in urban youth programs.  With your gift, you will be helping to provide future generations with something much more valuable than your dollar amount is worth.

(381) is poised to become a significant contributor to the national effort to close the opportunity gap between the advantaged and the disadvantaged.  With your gift, you will play an important role in this struggle.  (381) derives its name from the 381 days of the Montgomery bus boycott; as leaders in the march for educational equality, (381) Inc pledges to be innovative, bold, and inspirational.
