Kentucky 4-H Foundation Inc

Kentucky 4-H Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the financial support of the Kentucky 4-H Youth Development Program. The Foundation is a partner of the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture and the Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service, 4-H Youth Development.Kentucky 4-H is a proven, researched-based program that makes a difference in the lives of today’s youth. 4-H promotes the full development of young people, while instilling strong values and morals. It fosters life skills, positive self-esteem, citizenship, and leadership skills in a “learn-by-doing” approach that help participants become contributing, productive, and self-directed members of society. 

Kentucky 4-H Foundation exists to advance today’s Kentucky 4-H Youth Development Program.

The mission of Kentucky 4-H Foundation is to: Lead fund development for the Kentucky 4-H Youth Development Program and advance support by alumni and other stakeholders to ensure 4-H remains a vital center of excellence in the Commonwealth.
