At 4-C, we believe that access to early child care and education is vital not only for individual family stability but also for broader social well-being and economic development. By ensuring families have access to early child care and education, we help them stay in the workforce or continue their education. 4-C advocates for an equitable and innovative education system while supporting early childhood professionals who work to meet the needs of families with young children.

Every act of generosity has the potential to uplift entire communities.  Study after study has shown that access to early care and education make a critical difference in the future success of children. That is why we need your support now more than ever. Your tax-deductible contribution helps to ensure that children, regardless of their economic status, have access to the early care and education they need to thrive and reach their full potential.

As we enter our 54th year of serving the children in our community, we recognize more than ever the importance of giving ALL children a strong start in life. Numerous economic studies have shown that when children receive high-quality early childhood education, the entire community reaps the benefits through lower employee turnover, decreased absenteeism, and increased productivity. It’s important to remember that the children we support today are the workforce of tomorrow!

Our History

Community Coordinated Child Care (4-C) is one of the oldest Child Care Resource and Referral agencies in the United States. Established in 1969 as part of a pilot program, the 4-C goal was, and continues to be, to develop a comprehensive approach to coordinating child care services in the local community. For over 50 years, 4-C has supported and enhanced child care and continues its tradition of supporting families by coordinating a vision of a high-quality early childhood care system available to all children and families.

Our Vision

All children have equitable access to world-class early care and education.

Our Mission

Believing that child care is critical to social well-being and economic development, 4-C advocates for an equitable and innovative education system while supporting early childhood professionals who work to meet the needs of families with young children.
