Shasta Dam Area Little League Inc

Established in 1957, Shasta Dam Area Little League has been a part of this community for 65+ years. The local chapter of Little League International is managed and run entirely by volunteers. From the Board members to the managers, coaches, snack bar crew, and field crew. This is done for the benefit of children in our community, from the age of 4 in tee ball all the way up to age 16 in the Seniors division. Your donation helps us keep this amazing (and vital) program going.

We believe in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. We don’t only teach youth athletes how to be better ball players - we also instill the qualities and values needed to be a model community member and a successful adult. Joined together by one common goal, every local league is part of One Team. One Little League.

Shasta Dam Area Little League is reaching out to the community for support. Donations from the community enable the league to provide new equipment and continued year-round field maintenance and improvements. We have a few large projects, including building a covered, lighted double-lane batting cage. This will allow players and coaches to keep developing and working on skills, even when the weather may have other ideas. Donations also assist the League in providing scholarships for families who are financially unable to enroll their children in the Little League program. Every child should have the opportunity to share in the friendships and life lessons that Little League offers.
