4C for Children

When an adult knows how to help a child learn, that child gets the early start needed for success in school and life. By working to strengthen the interactions between children and the adults who care for them, 4C for Children gives young children what they need to enter school ready to learn.

4C for Children is the primary source of training for child care providers in Northern Kentucky. We work closely with child care centers and preschools across the region to teach best practices in early education and care. Child care teachers often can only participate in training classes after work, and they must pay for these training classes out of their own pockets. 4C works hard to keep the cost of training low so that teachers can attend, but the quality of training high so that children benefit.

More than 1,400 early childhood teachers attend our workshops in Northern Kentucky every year. Teaching the teachers is one of the best strategies for getting kids ready for kindergarten. When teachers know more, children are safer, healthier, happier—and learn more.

In 2013, 4C impacted 35,000 kids in Kentucky. Will you help us grow that number?
