A Picture’s Worth is an impact driven nonprofit grounded in decades of experience in journalism, education, and community engagement. We partner with community groups, nonprofits, educators, and businesses to bridge divides shaped by traditional media and harmful deficit based narratives. Our work centers the voices of change, broadens perspectives, and sparks understanding across cultures.

We use the Purpose Agency’s definition of narrative change: a process of evolving the stories told in and about our culture by centering and sharing accurate, empowering stories. Narrative change raises awareness, builds support, and often opens the door to deeper, long term change.

Elevating Voices of Change

Elevating Voices of Change is an ongoing United Way of Greater Cincinnati initiative led in partnership with A Picture's Worth and including six regional nonprofit partners and community experts. Together, we build narrative skills, support inclusive program and communication design and center the expertise of our community leaders.
