A Twist of Faith Outreach

A Twist of Faith Outreach, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, empowers single mothers affected by homelessness and at-risk youth by equipping them with the tools and support needed to overcome barriers to self-sufficiency. Through our dedicated team of Community Health Workers, we address Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) and health disparities using a holistic approach centered around the 8 dimensions of wellness, fostering resilience, wellness, and long-term success.

Our Programs and Services include:

1. Empowered and on the GROW: Our holistic Wellness Program is designed specifically for single mothers affected by homelessness and provides:
   • Life Coaching: Personalized coaching sessions to help mothers set and achieve their personal and professional goals.
   • EmpowerHER (Peer Support Group): A supportive community of peers where mothers can share experiences, receive encouragement, and build lasting connections.
   • Pathways to Personal and Professional Development: Growth opportunities that include the Potential Unleashed: Business Empowerment Series, access to no-cost continued education programs, and workforce development initiatives. Our Pathways empower members to leverage their natural talents and skills to create income-generating opportunities, fostering financial independence and self-sufficiency.
2. Jireh's House of Purpose: Our 90-day homeless diversion and social rehabilitation program that offers:
   • Immediate Support: Providing shelter and essential services to single mothers and their families.
   • Rehabilitation: Comprehensive social services designed to help participants rebuild their lives, focusing on stability, independence, and long-term success.
   • Pathway to Housing: Assistance with securing permanent housing, employment, and access to ongoing support.
3. Y.E.S. (Youth Enrichment Services)Empowering the next generation through:
   • Mentorship Programs: Guiding at-risk youth with positive role models who inspire, motivate, and provide guidance on life choices.
   • College Readiness: Equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to succeed in higher education, from application assistance to scholarship opportunities.
   • After-School Enrichment: Engaging activities and educational programs that help youth develop new skills, explore their interests, and build confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.
