The ACLU of Missouri works to defend the rights for all Missourians.

Founded in 1920, the ACLU of Missouri is one of the oldest advocacy organizations of its kind. We are one affiliate in a 50-state network of ACLU offices coordinated by a national office in New York and aided by a legislative office in Washington, D.C. As an affiliate, the ACLU of Missouri operates in Missouri, taking on civil liberties cases that spring up across the state. In all of our work, we collaborate with the pursuit of common national organization goals.

As a non-partisan organization whose mission is to make real the promises of the Constitution for everyone in Missouri, the ACLU is uniquely positioned to press forward in this challenging climate, generating movement and hope across all the major civil liberties issues of our day.
