Area Resources for Community and Human Services

A nonprofit organization

As a not-for-profit organization established in 1997, ARCHS' programs ensure children are ready for school, youth succeed in school and as productive citizens, parents are learning and working, and that the region is thinking strategically. Three examples of ARCHS' programs are: 1) Educare, the region's largest supporter of in-home child care businesses; 2) After School for All Partnership (ASAP), the region's largest free after school system; and 3) St. Louis Alliance for Reentry (STAR), the region's largest coalition supporting prisoner reentry. ARCHS' capacity meets funders' goals: saves money, improves services, gets results, involves community, and develops resources.
