The Abdul Miracle Disabled Children’s Foundation (AMDCF) is a non-profit organization founded to provide educational and other assistance to disabled children and their families in Sierra Leone. It was founded by Sahr Christopher Moiwa, to honor the charitable character of his son Abdul Augustine Tomah Moiwa, and as a way of giving back to society for all the assistance, privileges, and opportunities, that have helped Abdul over the last five years. Sahr recognizes that disabled children in Sierra Leone are generally discriminated against and unable to get quality education that is essential to making them productive citizens. He hopes that AMDCF will make a difference in their lives and inspire them to aim high, and to believe that their disabilities should never be a limit on their capabilities.
