SUPPORT JOURNEY OF HOPE 2024    SUPPORT ABILITY CAMPS!

At The Ability Experience, we make it our mission to support the disability community across the country by engaging with individuals 1-on-1 in the spirit of inclusion.  We celebrate the abilities of all people as we work to develop servant leadership qualities in the men of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.

This summer we are working to build support for two initiatives: Journey of Hope and Ability Camps.

 Journey of Hope 2024, The Ability Experience’s signature event, is in its final stretch and will complete their cross-county ride on August 10. Two teams, 44 cyclists, 66 days, 4000 miles.  Throughout the summer, the teams have engaged with hundreds of differently abled friends, raised funds and awareness, promoted inclusion and the abilities of all people. Their final push is a challenge to fund their final set of grants.

This year we plan to host 30 Ability Camps, involving 1200 college men and providing $60,000 in grant money to improve and upgrade organizations that serve the disability community. This reflects ambitious program growth of 150% over last year! YOUR support makes it all possible.

Through regular interaction with our partner organizations, The Ability Experience promotes shared experiences between the young men of Pi Kappa Phi and our friends who are differently abled. Donations from generous people like you make it possible for us to support these organizations with monetary grants and with manpower for construction and maintenance projects to make life more livable.

Your gift today allows The Ability Experience to continue building programs that will put a smile on our friends' faces and allow them to feel pride and independence enhanced by upgraded facilities.
