• Positive mental health for the child and family with special needs

 

What do we do?

• ABLE-differently aims to create memorable  experiences

*through recreational & creative arts activities

*for children with disability who are also at risk for social emotional concerns

How do we serve our community?

Children:

• Provide financial resources for positive experiences and special moments that rekindles the spirit & heart.
• Assist the parent and child to ‘re-story’ ordinary aspects of a child’s day into  a crowning achievement and  adventure.
• Highlight memories and meaningful experiences to enjoy indefinitely.

 

Parents:

• Developmental and emotional behavioral growth tools including mindfulness for taking in the good and telling a coherent story
• Heathcare providers, teachers  and parental consulation to get collaboration.

Professionals: ABLE-differently offers

• Education, technical support and
• Outreach to communities in providing alternative model for positive mental heath
• Community mentors such as teachers, doctors and others to
• Ensure a child’s wellbeing, development, and personal growth.

We have helped more than 600 children over two decades, as well as their families and siblings, to have a fun time learning new self-resources.
