Abundant Blessings House of Hope

Abundant Blessings House of Hope is a maternity home that was established to house, feed, and equip pregnant women during their pregnancy. 

Regardless of your stance on abortion, most of us can probably agree that everyone should have the right to choose life, if that is where their hearts are leading them. Being coerced, forced, threatened, or ultimatum-ed into terminating a pregnancy, takes that right away. There are women, all across the board, who find themselves in this situation, every single day. This is why we never charge for our services   regardless of political standings, race, religious beliefs, age, marital status, or demographic standings.  

We personally know the reality of being coerced, or forced, into terminating a pregnancy. With no support, from family or friends, many women feel they have no other options. We are that option.

Based on the love and unconditional support that our founder received from her mother, Carolyn, during her own teenage pregnancy, the heart of Abundant Blessings was born. Despite protests from other family members, and even being dis-owned, Carolyn stood strong by her daughter, Tammy. The words that Carolyn spoke, "Follow your heart and I will stand behind you, one-hundred percent", changed Tammy's life, forever. 

In Tammy's words, "Without the love and support, that my mom gave to me during one of the scariest times in my life, I honestly don't know if my daughter would have ever been born. There was so much pressure to get an abortion, I don't know that I would have been strong enough to fight for her life."

SO many women are in Tammy's shoes but most of them don't have that person in their corner; they don't have anyone to stand behind them. "We are simply offering what my mom so selflessly gave: one hundred percent support". 

Abundant Blessings House of Hope not only provides shelter, they also provide adoption options and referrals (because there IS a loving home out there for EVERY baby), job seeking support, education support, life skills classes, proper nutrition education, future family planning education, and more. We offer a hand-up, not a hand-out.

Carolyn was lost to cancer, just nine months after her oldest granddaughter was born, but the example that she set lives on through us. Not only did Carolyn save the life of her first born granddaughter, but that granddaughter grew up and gave Tammy a grandson of her own, one of her most treasured blessings.

While Carolyn never knew the full impact of her love and support, we vow to live out the example she gave to us and to serve by her words, "Follow your heart and I'll stand behind you, one-hundred percent."
