Accessity

A nonprofit organization

Accessity opens doors of financial opportunity to those historically with less access to capital and business support so they can build a prosperous business and livelihood for themselves and their families, while also strengthening our communities.

Accessity's journey began in 1994 with a mission to provide capital and educational support to small business owners. Accessity serves six Southern California counties: Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego. Since its inception, Accessity has disbursed more than 6,325 loans to small businesses, totaling approximately $91 million. Accessity empowers small business owners to increase their economic self-sufficiency and create positive impacts in their neighborhoods like employment opportunities and vibrant business corridors. Accessity educates approximately 4,500 entrepreneurs annually through individualized advising, support services, and free educational events The majority of the small business owners served (89%) are from underserved populations, providing valuable access to capital and education for the small business community in the Coachella Valley.

Testimonials

Accessity helps small businesses like All Color Growers, a nursery located in Bermuda Dunes. Owners Isaac and Ashely Rosales took over their nursery from Isaac's mother in 2014. With help from Accessity loans in 2016 and 2024, they have continued to expand their nursery and now offer landscaping services. All Color Growers employs 24 Coachella Valley residents and provides flowers, mulch, and soil throughout the Coachella Valley and beyond!
