Autism Coalition of Nevada

Today, 1 in 50 children will be diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  More children will be diagnosed with Autism this year than with AIDs, Diabetes and Cancer combined.  In Nevada, it is estimated that there are more than 7,000 children with ASD.

ACON's function is to unite all affected by Autism.  Autism advocacy organizations, local & national political affiliates, Legislators, and the service providers in Nevada and across the country.

47% of the children who receive an early diagnosis & treatment go on to live independent lives, while children who do not will need a lifetime of support.

Our goal is to change the future for all who struggle with Autism Spectrum Disorders in the state of Nevada.  The Autism Coalition of Nevada aims to bring the Autism community together as one strong voice to urge the government and private sectors to take action to address this crisis.  It is our firm belief that by working together, we will accomplish our goals.
