Because of Your Support,

We Continue to Transform Lives for the Better.

For close to 40 years, ACSS has been a committed community partner and one of metro Atlanta’s most impactful providers of workforce development services to low-to-moderate income individuals, resulting in financial stability and self-sufficiency for many. Our mission is to empower financially vulnerable individuals in our community to become self-sufficient, sustainably employed contributors to society. ACSS serves all Atlantans, with expertise in serving those who are unemployed and underemployed, veterans, individuals who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness, residents of subsidized housing, victims of domestic violence, and returning citizens. More than ever, your support has been crucial to the continued success of ACSS and our clients. Through every life-changing accomplishment, YOU have been by our side.

Because of your support, Mr. James Mattison, a graduate of ACSS’s veterans-specific program, overcame addiction, homelessness, and unemployment. By taking full advantage of the resources, certification programs, transportation, food, and clothing services that ACSS provides, Mr. Mattison got back onto his feet and turned his life around. According to Mr. Mattison, “[ACSS] has been a godsend. People need to know these benefits exist. Many people need help with job training, self-esteem, clothing, housing, and other various resources that ACSS provides.”

Because you choose to support our mission, ACSS has been able to help more than 2,000 individuals to secure life-stabilizing employment over the past 10 years. Individuals like Ms. Brenda Smith who experienced multiple setbacks prior to connecting with ACSS, but once she finished our CareerWorks Bootcamp, ACSS covered the cost for a PMP® course to prepare Ms. Smith to retake and pass the exam to receive her certification. Together we were able to change her life and brighten not just her future, but that of her entire family.

As we continue our work of changing lives, we invite you to continue partnering with ACSS. Together, we can continue to give hope to those who see no way out of the darkness just as we did for Mr. Walter Fizer, a U.S. Military veteran who was seeking to overcome adversity when he found ACSS. According to Mr. Fizer, the ACSS team "helped [him] to reopen [his]eyes and gave [him] hope.”

Because of your desire to make a difference, together we can continue to open doors and make brighter futures. Together we can continue to equip those in need with the tools necessary to live quality productive lives. Together we can build stronger communities. So on this coming #GivingTuesday2023, we will celebrate you as our key community partner. What an awesome team! Together, let's continue to transform lives on #GivingTuesday2023.
