ACT takes action for Alexandria nonprofits

ACT for Alexandria helps people who care deeply about our extraordinary city to do the greatest good for those in need among us.

Since its founding in 2004, ACT for Alexandria has worked in partnership with the community to find solutions to some of our most pressing challenges, from hunger relief to child advocacy. ACT has provided more than $10 million in grants to help to local nonprofit organizations and strengthen their ability to deliver critical services since its inception.

Spring2ACTion 

Wednesday, April 5 is Spring2ACTion, Alexandria's Giving Day. Spring2ACTion is a 24-hour online event that provides a simple way to connect donors to the charitable causes they care about most and encourages them to take action. This virtual fundraising effort, hosted by ACT for Alexandria with the help of generous sponsors, will offer local nonprofits the chance to raise thousands of dollars for the benefit of all Alexandria.
