Adopt a Senior

Did you know there are currently over 3 million Americans living in nursing homes?

Did you know approximately 50% of those Americans have no family or friends that visit them?

As the life expenctancy rate continues to grow higher, more and more individuals are living longer.  Many of these individuals will find themselves in a long-term care facility.  In many instances they can be there for quite a few years.  But many do not have any visitors throughout the year.  Consequently they will be alone throughout each year including their Birthdays and Holidays and will not receive a personal gift.

The Adopt A Senior Organization brings a personal touch to Seniors by directly providing them with some outside contact and thoughtful gifts to let them know they are not forgotten and alone.

The Adopt A Senior Organization was founded in 2014.  It is an extension of the very successful Adopt-A-Senior Holiday Program that has been ongoing for over 10 years at the Riverside Premier Rehab & Healing Center in NYC. 

Since the inception of the Adopt-A-Senior Holiday Program, we have provided smiles to over 3,000 Seniors through our Annual Gift Giving Program.

In 2015, we rolled out our Birthday Party Patrol at The Riverside Premier Rehab & Healing Center and Bartley Healthcare, our 2nd nursing home, located in Jackson, NJ.  In 2016, we added The Grand Nursing Home in Whitestone, NY and this year we added Sunrise of Jackson.  We are now hand-delivering Birthday and Holiday gifts to over 1,000 Seniors.

For every $50 donation we receive, the organization will select a Senior on your behalf and ensure that the individual receives their gifts throughout the year.  All gifts will be provided to your Senior in your name by the organization.  Gifts include: Holiday Gift, Birthday Gift and 2 other Seasonal Gifts during the year.  That is less than $1 a week to ensure a Senior is not forgotten!
