Adoptable Friends, NFP

We are on a mission to take animal welfare to a new level of care, compassion, and responsibility.

Adoptable Friends, NFP is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit, presently operating as a foster-based rescue, located near Mundelein, IL. 

Thanks to the generosity of our early supporters and Board of Directors, Adoptable Friends has already secured a 5-acre property that has a kennel (“Bark Boulevard”) and cat house structure (“Meow Manor”), built in 1973. Through our fundraising efforts, we have been able to do updates to the property which include a new septic system and new fencing ...but we have more to get done! We need your help to finish strong and raise the $500,000 needed to complete our renovation projects and get our shelter operational and open to the public!

We believe that our shelter will be where the public can turn to get the very best companion animal.

Our Goals:

1. Reduce euthanasia of adoptable companion animals  
2. Reduce fear, anxiety, and stress for animals in our care
3. Place adoptable animals in permanent homes
4. Create a natural habitat on our property
5. Build long-term relationships with the community
