National Council for Adoption

For over 32 years, the National Council For Adoption (NCFA) has served as the leading voice for children, birthparents, and adoptive families.

Our Fall 2012 initiatives include:

iCHOOSEADOPTION - We're reaching young women facing unintended pregnancy with the positive option of adoption through our iChooseAdoption PSA campaign, which will include a nationwide TV PSA, posters and resources about adoption in high schools across the country, and a social media campaign that reaches young people right where they are - on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.  Your gift will go towards covering the hard costs of this campaign, which are due this November.

FAMILIES FOR ALL - Our Families For All program is dedicated to the 104,000 children waiting to be adopted out of U.S. foster care.  This Fall, we're unveiling a brand new FamiliesForAll.org website, where users can connect with a child who needs a family. It's so simple to make a difference in the life of a child by mentoring, fostering, or adopting, and many Americans don't realize this great need in their own backyard. Your gift will help us expand Families For All to include a social media/viral video PSA highlighting the unique needs of children in foster care.

ADOPTION TAX CREDIT - The Adoption Tax Credit is set to expire at the end of 2012. We're working hard to save it and your voice could be the difference.  So many Americans are reluctant to adopt due to the high cost, and the Adoption Tax Credit makes adoption more affordable.  Your gift will ensure that we're able to continue our important work on this issue so that more children can find the loving, permanent families they deserve.
