Alliance for Equity in Montessori Education

We believe education has the power to transform lives. Our children's most important learning takes place in their first few years of life, which means that – more than anything else – access to high quality early learning separates the haves from the have-nots. 

AEME works to interrupt that separation by putting authentic Montessori preschool programs in the communities that need it most – for free, or as close to it as we can get. Because access is about so much more than tuition, we partner with other community organizations to support our families in all the ways they may need: transportation, housing, nutrition, and medical services. When these basic needs are in question, early learning suffers, and the consequences can affect people's lives for generations.
