WHAT WE DO:

African Diaspora Network developed from the belief that Africans and friends of Africa from diverse countries and backgrounds have the desire and will to work together for the common good of Africa.

ADN's mission is threefold: INFORM, ENGAGE and ACT

ADN has built and continues to grow a diverse and committed community of individuals, non- and for-profits, philanthropists, universities, students, community leaders and more. We organize and host community events in the Silicon Valley to inform, engage and stir action to positively impact African communities. Most of the organizations we support throughout Africa focus on the education of women and girls working in STEM and entrepreneurship.

WHY SUPPORT ADN

As you know, for the past six years ADN has existed through volunteer efforts alone. We are often approached to facilitate introductions, partnerships, and collaboration across many sectors, as well as support youth, women, and other entrepreneurial programs in the Silicon Valley and in Africa. We continue to do our very best to achieve these goals, but now it is imperative that we raise funds to develop capacity.

Your donations will allow us to continue convening, facilitating, and creating partnerships and collaboration across many sectors to support youth, women, and other entrepreneurial programs in the Silicon Valley and in Africa. On the right panel lists our specific project goals for the year 2016-17.
