AIDS Response Seacoast (ARS) is a non-profit community-based HIV/AIDS Service Organization, based in Portsmouth, NH, dedicated to providing education, direct assistance and advocacy to persons and communities affected by HIV. ARS has been providing services in the communities of Rockingham and Strafford counties of New Hampshire since 1987 and the only HIV/AIDs service organization serving Rockingham and Strafford. 

·        Our mission is two-fold: to support individuals living with HIV/AIDS and their families by providing case management, along with practical and emotional support services; and to prevent the spread of HIV by promoting safer practices through education and prevention programs for individuals, groups, and communities.

·        Client services include: medical case management, access to
life-saving medications and medical care, assistance with access to mental
health or substance use services, emergency financial assistance for housing
and utilities, transportation, a food panty and more…

All services provided to person's living with HIV are free of charge.

Your gift of $25.00 will buy bus tickets for medical transportation.

Your gift of $50.00 will help supply our food pantry.

Your gift of $100.00 will pay for a client's utility bill.

Your gift of $500 or more will help pay for a client's rent.

Who We Are

AIDS Response Seacoast is a non-profit community-based HIV/AIDS Service Organization, based in Portsmouth, NH, dedicated to providing direct assistance, education and advocacy to persons and communities affected by HIV infection. We provide direct service to clients at all stages of HIV infection who live in Rockingham and Strafford Counties in New Hampshire and educational programs throughout Seacoast New England. ARS evolved as a grassroots response to the epidemic in 1987 to offer vital emotional and practical support to people living with HIV infection and AIDS. Services provided by ARS are free of charge to persons living with HIV.
