Alabama Possible is a campaign from the Alabama Poverty Project. In 1993, a group of concerned citizens, including then-Auburn University President Wilford Bailey, Auburn History Professor Emeritus Wayne Flynt, Social Work Pioneer Eulene Hawkins and Alabama Baptist Convention President Earl Potts, decided to take action against poverty in Alabama and formed the Alabama Poverty Project.

APP launched the Alabama Possible campaign during the summer of 2009 to emphasize the power each and every Alabamian has to end poverty in our home state.

APP is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation.
