Alabaster Sports and Entertainment Foundation an Alabama Non-Profit

We were informed that our school system had no money in the budget for maintaining, improving, or building new sports & entertainment facilities or equipment. Therefore, several concerned parents worked together to come up with a way we could help build pride in young athletes & the whole student body, as well as the community. We have been raising money and making great improvements that have impacted the whole community, but especially our students who felt their school and facilities were less than that of their class 6A competitors.

We want to continue making a difference. Although academics is considered most important, our students also need healthy extra-curricular outlets that keep them motivated to stay in school and do their best. Our school's sports and band programs have some very talented individuals who depend on their extra-curricular program as a means to afford a higher education and/or other opportunities. And, we as a community are proud and encouraged when we see them go on to do great things with their talent.  By helping with the facility and equipment needs we are also relieving the burden of large participation (spirit packs) fees from parents of the athletes, who can not afford the high costs but also cannot afford to let their children not be involved in a healthy program which may keep them from looking for trouble as an outlet.
