Alachua Conservation Trust Incorporated

Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT) is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) local land conservation organization with a 28-year history of acquiring, restoring and making open to the public many thousands of acres of our wild Florida places. We also provide extensive environmental education programming free of charge, as well as meeting and event space for local governments and other not-for-profits at our Prairie Creek Lodge facility in southeast Gainesville near the community of Rochelle. 

ACT works with land owners to protect Florida's special places.   We do so through purchase, donation and conservation easements.
