Alcohol & Drug Abuse Treatment Centers, Inc has been providing services to residents of Alabama since 1974.  The Agency has three unique locations: Pearson Hall, Olivia's House and Zukoski Center.  Detoxification and Crisis Residential levels of care are provided at Pearson Hall to adult men and women.  Olivia's House provides transitional care to women with their dependent children. Outpatient services are offered at the Zukoski Center.  We are committed to treating the disease of addiction at every level.

Clients at our treatment centers learn new living skills, and life coping skills.  Gradually, they begin to understand that addiction is a disease.  They have been sick, not just "morally bad".

Days at our programs are filled with informational lectures; individual and group sessions.  We also offer domestic violence classes and case management services.  Psychiatric and medical screenings are provided as well as clinical and nutritional evaluations.

Our clients receive an array of services to include job skills training, parenting classes, and introduction to peer support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA).  Since recovery includes the family, the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Treatment Centers offer weekly family strengthening sessions.

Our mission is to overcome the stigma regarding addiction.  We accomplish this by educating and empowering individuals and families.
