Helping Kids Achieve Goals - on the Soccer Field and Beyond

We believe in the power of sport to teach lessons and open doors beyond the soccer field. That’s why we are committed to ensuring that every child interested has access to the benefits of play. This year during Spring2Action, we are raising funds for our Financial Aid Program.

Financial Aid ensures that cost is never a barrier to participation. Last year ASA supported over 2,000 participants with $715,000 in financial aid support. Every player deserves the chance to learn, compete, and belong—regardless of their family’s financial situation. ASA's Financial Aid program helps open doors to a range of programs, from grassroots to comprehensive.

Our generous partner, Sage Training, donates each year to the Financial Aid Program, in honor of Eli Medrano, a standout player on ASA's U9 team who tragically passed away in an accident. Eli was a bright light with a larger-than-life personality and a beloved teammate on and off the field.

Who We Are

Alexandria Soccer Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, established in 1970 in Alexandria, Virginia. ASA operates in the City of Alexandria, Virginia, and offers soccer programs for citizens of all abilities and ages.

We're on a bold mission to connect and engage the community through high quality, accessible, sports programs that positively impact Alexandria.

In 2025, ASA served 7,500 youth and adults in our community in year round programming at all levels of play, from grassroots to nationally competitive. Additionally, we distributed $715,000 in financial aid to ensure we never child who wanted to play had the opportunity. 

Your support on Spring2Action helps us serve kids and give back to the community. An hour spent playing soccer with kids at an after school recreation center each week can change a child's life.
