Algonquin Area Youth Organization Inc

The Algonquin Storm is Algonquin's premier 12 year old and under travel baseball team.  As an affiliate of the Algonquin Area Youth Organization (AAYO) we promote a competitive spirit but emphasize character and good sportsmanship.

We focus on the fundamentals of the game but it is not only about baseball.  Members of the Storm must maintain a higher than average grade point average as well as give back to the community. 

We participate in charitable events as well as donate time helping those in need. 

 Over the last two years we have raised over $6,000.00 with 100% of the proceeds going directly to local families with children fighting cancer of other life threatening diseases.  

"Our goal is not only to develop great baseball players but to develop outstanding individuals." 

This year we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in a tournament at Allstar Village in Cooperstown New York competing against teams from California to New Jersey.  Normally our fundraising efforts have focused on helping others in need but now we could use your help as this trip will cost approximately $1,600.00 per player.
