All Five

The campaign

 All Five offers a birth-to-five early childhood program. We opened our pilot preschool in eastern Menlo Park in September 2015, serving 24 children aged 3 to 5.

We have great demand from the community and have waitlists for both our 0-3 and 3-5 programs.

Over 50 families are on All Five's waitlist, seeking quality early education for their children.

We are looking for opportunities to open an infant-toddler center as well as another preschool, bringing together families from diverse backgrounds and providing quality early childhood education to all.

With your support, we can make a difference in 36 more children's lives - starting from birth through age 5.

Our model

All Five brings innovation by integrating five key practices - focusing on children starting at birth, a public-private funding model, socioeconomic diversity, strong investment in teachers, and family and community involvement.  

All Five is mirrored after the charter movement and dedicated to research and development, scalability and sharing practices to catalyze change on a larger scale.  

90% of a person’s brain is developed by age 3; but public education doesn’t start until age 5. Children from lower socioeconomic communities often enter kindergarten already years behind. Existing full day programs in East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park serve just 17% of the preschool population qualified for subsidized care.  And early learning is an incredible investment - up to $17 of return for every dollar spent from savings on later societal expenses, including remediation, health issues and crime.
