Alleghany County First Responders Fund

Why the First Responders Fund?

The Alleghany County First Responders fund was created to support local volunteer fire departments and rescue squads. This fund supports fire departments and rescue squads in Boiling Springs, Clifton Forge, Dunlap, Falling Spring, Iron Gate, Selma, and Sharon.  

Many essential services in our community our provided by these volunteer organizations. These people volunteer their time to respond to house fires, forest fires, automobile accidents, and many other disasters in order to make our community a safer place. 

These first responders need the community’s support in order to purchase life-saving equipment and to maintain certifications for various EMT duties.
