The Allegheny County Parks Foundation is established to preserve and improve the nine County Parks through tax-deductible charitable contributions and citizen involvement. The Foundation is dedicated to insuring the long-term viability of our county park system which can no longer rely exclusively on tax dollars. Generations have enjoyed recreational activities and the natural environments the parks offer. Surrounding neighborhoods and communities, the parks are well used by park enthusiasts all year for a multitude of active and contemplative pursuits. With your help, we can address needed improvements to insure the parks future. Our region has a large and well established park system and we must maintain and enhance these vast public parks for generations to come. The County Parks are an important part of our quality of life, healthy lifestyle and year-round recreation. The nine parks are North Park, South Park, Boyce Park, Hartwood Acres, Settler's Cabin, White Oak, Round Hill Park, Harrison Hills and Deer Lakes.
