Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse Inc

In 1980 Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse (ATVP) was formally organized by a concerned group of community members to provide support and safety for victims of domestic violence and seual assault and non-offending family members and friends. ATVP is a private, non-protif organization governed by a community-based Board of Directors.

Services are provided to Whtiman and Latah county residents free of charge, confidentially and without discrimination.  Services include 24-hour telephone or in-person crisis intervention; emergency, confidential shelter; legal and medical advocacy;individual and group support; information and referral; and community education.  In 2010 ATVP celebrated its 30-year anniversary of providing services to residents of the Palouse.
