ALX Dog Walk

At our core, at the ALX Dog Walk, we believe in the power of community engagement and education to drive positive change.  

Our annual dog walk event and sustainability festival, alongside our annual outreach exhibits and initiatives, aims to change the way people perceive and address plastic pollution and sustainability, in general.  With an unwavering commitment to this cause, we've made signficant strides in just four years.  In 2024, we expect over 1,000 dogs and dog lovers to join together to demonstrate support for a more plastic-free world and to learn about plastic-free and sustainable living.

Through our collective community building efforts, we're helping to reshape perceptions and actions around plastic pollution, and help move the the City of Alexandria to a more plastic-free environment.  

With each step taken together, we'll help to spark positive change felt for generations to come.
