The Vision of ADAKC is that all in Kern County affected by Alzheimer's disease have the help and support they need, and that all of our clients and caregivers are treated with compassion, dignity, and respect. ADAKC's comprehensive programs include caregiver education, support and counseling. Through a safe and stimulating Adult Day Services, individuals diagnosed will experiece independance that will support a higher level of function, improved nutrtion and an overall improved quality of life.  One caregiver best describes the benefits of the organization.

" My father being involved in the ADAKC’s Adult Day Center is the best thing ever to happen to him, for the quality of his life and our family’s has improved.  For the last six years, the staff at ADAKC has treated my father like family.  When I leave him at the center, I am confident that he is well taken care of and loved by the staff at ADAKC. The best thing about ADAKC is that as my father’s Alzheimer’s progresses the staff teaches me how to adapt to these changes.  They guide me through the various stages and are always there to offer encouragement, support, and understanding. It’s incredible to see how our whole family near and far reap the positive benefits of this amazing organization. Thank You, Jody Serban"
