Alzheimers Idaho Inc

Alzheimer's Idaho was created out of an unmet need in the Treasure Valley area for support of our affected Alzheimer's population and their families. We are a local grass roots non-profit and are not a part of any national Alzheimer's organizations. The needs that our organization can uniquely provide have been driven by a dedicated and impassioned group of local professionals and volunteers.  The services we provide without cost to our families are:  one-on-one Alzheimer's/other dementias training/coaching, resourcing, and our subsidized respite care program.  We also provide training to professional staff with donation of their choice.

In addition to the many wonderful support groups available to families in Idaho, Alzheimer's Idaho has a special group of ladies caring for their husband's called the "Sweet Magnolias".  This special group is a social based group and represent the many family members caring for their loved ones in the disease. Our caregivers in this disease are "real heroes" who deserve all the love and support available to them every day.
