Memory Matters

Memory Matters is a public 501(C)3 organization that was originally founded in 1994 as Alzheimer’s of Glynn, Brunswick. For over 20 years Memory Matters has served this community by staying committed to the Mission; to support, educate and enrich the lives of those living with or caring for someone with illness related memory loss such as Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

 Memory Matters provides vital support for caregivers via support groups, free memory screenings, and individual consultations.  Memory Matters is the foremost source of up-to-date information on Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other illness-related memory loss. Memory Matters provides informational materials, workshops and hosts events with subject matter experts from our community to inform the public on topics relevant to memory loss.

 Because social opportunities are often diminished when there is a diagnosis of dementia regular events that focus on creativity and fun are scheduled to help enrich the lives of caregivers, care-partners, family and friends. We want to bring joy into your life by creating a safe space for you to relax, laugh and have some fun with your loved ones and friends.
