Amana Heritage Society

The Amana Heritage Society interprets the history of the Amana Colonies, National Historic Landmark. We operate historic sites in multiple villages: Amana Heritage Museum in Amana, Communal Kitchen and Cooper Shop in Middle Amana, High Amana General Store in High Amana, and the Homestead Church in Homestead. Our collections include over 13,000 artifacts, 14,000 photos, and 300 linear feet of archival documents.
