"Amberwood Sanctuary: "A Special Place for Donkeys," is devoted to rescuing. rehabilitating and providing a loving, permanent home for abused, neglected, starved, beaten, and abandoned donkeys and wild burros.   Our sanctuary provides lifelong refuge, medical care, and emotional healing to these gentle beings, restoring their dignity and giving them a safe place to thrive. 

Once they arrive at Amberwood Sanctuary, we attempt to give them every possible assurance that they are now in a safe place and will never again be abused.
