American Warrior Association

The American Warrior Association's mission is to honor our Military, Veterans, First Responders and their families in mind, body, and soul. 

AWA recognizes that the mind, body and soul are the three pillars of life that complete an individual and that each needs to be balanced to live a healthy, full life. AWA provides programs under each to prepare our warriors for a life of continued service to others outside of their primary duties. 

The Mind Pillar grants three tiers of scholarships and provides mentorship and networking opportunities so warriors can thrive in the civilian workforce. Tier One Scholarships award $15,000 per year for graduate programs. Tier Two Scholarships award $10,000 per year for graduate programs, and Tier Three Scholarships award $2,500 to offset costs in completing the 4th year of an undergraduate degree. 

The Body Pillar continues our warriors’ mission of service through our strategic partnerships with aligned organizations. We provide the opportunity for our service members to continue their calling to serve others within their communities by allowing them to give back and build-up the next generation of Americans into strong, patriotic citizens. 

The Soul Pillar provides week-long, faith-based retreats at our mountain ranch in Colorado that allow our nation’s servants to decompress and repair their souls. These programs are designed to heal the moral injuries sustained during occupational hazards while serving our communities and country. Moral injuries have become the unspoken price paid by those protecting our freedoms and liberties at home and abroad. They are unseen and lead to catastrophic pain and loss of life after the war ends. We respect the diversity of beliefs held by those experiencing moral injury and use group sessions to acknowledge and confront it. Through original curriculum and teaching sessions, prayer and meditation, horseback riding and outdoor adventure, warriors are equipped with tools to heal and navigate the challenges of civilian life.
