2024 was as brilliant as the glow of neon- help make 2025 even brighter!

If you have not been to the museum recently, there is so much new for you to see and explore. Your support has not only kept the lights on but has allowed the museum to have one of its more successful years in its history.

As we enter this season of giving, your gift will ensure the necessary funds are available for electricity, programs, and the ongoing maintenance and preservation of signs. Giving during the Cincinnati Gives Challenge will see your gift go further as the museum gets into the spirit of competition to raise bonus dollars on top of our supporters gifts.

From neon masterpieces to vintage storefronts, your contribution will help the ASM continue its work as custodians of a truly American Art form in the coming year. Any gift, any size will help!

• $10 buys one stick of vintage 4-ft neon tubing;
• $25 buys one half-pint of sign lettering enamel;
•  $50 funds the diagnosis and estimate of a sign in disrepair;
•  $100 funds one small transformer to power a sign;
•  $150 pays the electric bill for one day; and
• $300 pays for the repair of two neon tubes

About the American Sign Museum

The American Sign Museum covers more than 100 years of American sign history and displays more than 800 signs and artifacts, making it the most comprehensive museum of its kind. With a mission to educate the community about the history of the sign industry and its significant contribution to commerce and the American landscape, the museum is organized to preserve, archive and display a historical collection of signs in their many types and forms.

The building features 40,000 square feet of exhibit space, 28-foot ceilings able to accommodate sizable outdoor signs, a working neon shop, flexible event space, and an extensive archive of books, photos and documents reflecting the art, craft and history of signmaking.
