AmeriCorps St. Louis

AmeriCorps St. Louis is a unique nonprofit that provides skill building and leadership development opportunities for young adults wanting to make a difference. We are a service organization that carries out projects related to environmental stewardship, wildland firefighting, and disaster response. In addition, we operate a homeless shelter at our location in Soulard. Just as the Peace Corps is Americans in service to the world; AmeriCorps is Americans in service to each other.

This year, we're raising funds enhance our Member Support Fund. The Member Support Fund provides financial assistance to individuals currently serving in our program who have experienced an unexpected expense that may impact their ability to successfully complete their term of service. This includes unexpected vehicle repair bills, unexpected medical bills or unexpected costs associated with an injury or medical condition, or an unexpected rise in an essential expense.
