FOUR SCREENS BRIMMING WITH WORLD CLASS PROGRAMS!
We present over 200 films a year on four screens in more than 20 languages, and a stunning array of plays, dance and music performances in HD from internationally known artists and companies.
Our groundbreaking arts education program for school children uses the immense power of cinema to inspire creative writing by young learners.
Our comfortable, fully accessible theater offers state-of-the-art projection and sound and is a welcoming crossroads for all of Western Massachusetts!

Amherst Cinema uses the immense power of the visual image to inspire creative writing in young learners. Over 1,000 third graders participate each year from public schools throughout the Pioneer Valley. Over half of the students come from underserved public schools and all attend on scholarship!
