Anaverde Hills School Ptsa

Our PTSA provides exciting field trips, educational assemblies, family and community programs, and strong academic support.  We bring teachers, families, and the community together, from the Walking School Bus which keeps our children and community safe, to Bookfairs, Movie Nights, Art Programs, Dances, our community wide Spring Festival and so much more!  

Anaverde Hills School....the Little School That Could.  What began as a hope and a dream has become a California Distinguished School reality. Our school opened it’s doors in 2005 in dilapidated, temporary trailers in the back field of another school, rented from another school district. Our students were bused miles to the facilities. Many of our teachers were let go each year due to state budget cuts.

But our teachers returned and our parents volunteered. Our PTSA provided field trips and assemblies, family nights, and community events. The core of our little school - teachers, parents, students - stayed strong, came together, and our students succeeded.

In 2010 our Little School That Could earned the title California Distinguished School and this month we opened the doors to our brand new school! 

Now that we have our own house, our PTSA is tasked with helping to make these bare walls a home. We are establishing traditions and setting standards for years to come.

We need your support to bring these programs and events to our school! 

We ask you to support our efforts to reach our $20,000 fundraising goal BY SEPTEMBER 6th with a tax-deductible donation. If each of our 430 students raises just $50, we will reach our goal!
