Be Part of Illuminating Abilities

Angels on Stage (AoS) offers skills-based programs rooted in theatrical arts experiences that build friendships, independence, confidence, and self-esteem. Each program is designed to meet participants where they are, providing customized opportunities for success, growth, and meaningful interaction with peers, skilled adults, and the wider community. The AoS model demonstrates an inclusive and collaborative approach through five innovative programs that bring together children and youth with special needs; their typically developing teen peers as buddy coaches; and adults with disabilities as leaders and role models.

Setting the Angels up for success. While AoS uses theater as a medium for rich social interaction and personal development, the primary emphasis is on the process, growth and relationships that happen in the creation of theatre arts. Every Angel is a star and every role, onstage or off, makes the AoS experience special. The culture and atmosphere at AoS creates the space for the Angels to be themselves, show their abilities and shine in a safe environment. AoS staff enter the Angels’ world and join them where they are, so each Angel can reach their own highest level of success.
