Angiosarcoma Awareness Inc

Angiosarcoma Awareness is a patient driven, non-profit organzation dedicated to finding answers through research.  Angiosarcoma is one of the most aggressive cancers and has a dismal prognosis with a 5 year survival rate of only 30%.  Initiated, organized, and founded by angiosarcoma patients, we are operated solely by volunteers who have the disease and by loved ones who have been affected by the disease.  We review the work of labs that have published findings resulting from their Angiosarcoma research.  We focus on laboratories at world renowned institutions with scientists who have existing expertise in studying this disease.  We are currently funding research at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering cancer center, MD Anderson cancer center, the Moffit cancer center, and at the University of MN.  Because of these collaborations, we have two clinical trials underway.  Learn more about Angiosarcoma Awareness, Inc. at our official website at www.cureasc.org
