Animal Assisted Happiness Inc

From our first smile in 2006 by Riley, to more than 39,607 smiles to date, we are on our way to our vision of 1 million smiles!  All children should 'experience the smiles only animals can bring ... our Animal Assisted Happiness (AAH) barnyard animals, (mini horses, mini donkey, alpaca, goats, sheep, pot bellied pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and even an aviary), mostly rescue animals themselves, create these experiences with the assistance of our more than 1810 registered volunteers.   The AAH Mobile barnyard visits more than 80 organizations for kids -- programs, special needs classrooms and hospitals.   Kids come visit the AAH Smile Farm at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale for private and group visits visits and even for vocational education.

We are building an inclusive, yet diverse community where everyone belongs.  Our youth volunteers are learning the spirit of volunteerism and through the animals are experiencing the joy of creating smiles while helping the AAH team care for the animals, raise funds and design our facilities for our animals and our visitors.
