"Annually, an estimated 7.6 million animals enter shelters in the United States. Some 2.7 million of them are destroyed. Some shelters limit their holding time because of the many animals arriving daily.

This situation would be best remedied by subsidized spay/neuter and public education campaigns."  Washington Post

Spay and neuter has proven to be the most effective solution to the problem of pet overpopulation.

Each year,  thousands of adoptable, loyal and loving companion animals are euthanized due to lack of resources.

It doesn't have to be that way.

ACT is addressing the problem at its source and helping more dogs and cats get spayed and neutered.

Since the opening of the first rented clinic in March 2006, ACT has been providing life-saving spays and neuters that keep the companion pets from reproducing  excess and unwanted litters.  ACT serves over 20,000 dogs and cats each year of its existence.

Can you help us save their lives?
